With the help of the “Design Thinking” method, a first prototype could be designed in a short time, which was also further detailed under economic and feasibility points. For the pilot, drivers were recruited, vehicles provided, a web-based booking interface developed, a pricing model designed and a promotion campaign set up. The piloting took place in the context of connected mobility at a large German mobility hub.
